The 19th-century Mediterranean villa in Trpanj, Croatia

A halfway in between Split and Dubrovnik

The villa, initially built in1815, was renovated 1999 – 2001 with much love by the owners of the Milosevic family.

VILLA GRIC offers overnight accommodation including the use of our large fully equipped summer and/or main kitchen located on the terrace and basement.

We offer five accommodation units i.e. three large double rooms, S1, S3, and S4, one small double room S2 ( so-called „teenagers room“ ) as well as a two-to-four bed studio-apartment A5 for couples with/without children. In order to serve larger groups, we offer also various combinations of rooms and apartments. We call it COMBOS.

All units are modern, tastefully furnished with antique furniture, and have a private bathroom, shower cabin, and terrace or balcony with a spectacular garden view.

All of the units are equipped with a refrigerator, SAT-TV, (except the small room S2), ceiling fan with remote control, private fully equipped bathroom, mosquito nets, and separate entrance. Free Wi-Fi Is available throughout the entire property.

All guests have free access to our 400 sqm large terrace and 2500 sqm large garden equipped with several deckchairs/sunshades, twin shower, and 6 parking slots. The guests can serve their meals on the terrace in the shadow of the centennial trees or, depending on the weather conditions, our rustic breakfast/dining lounge. The terrace contains the 20 sqm large fully equipped summer kitchen.

Trpanj is ideal for a beach vacation. Thanks to ist many rock-and pebble beaches and the clear and calm sea, is also a good starting point for the excursions, as for example to close-by bays of Divna and Duba.

Day trips to Dubrovnik, Split, Ston, Mostar, or the islands of Korcula and Mljet can be organized, as well as hiking tours in spring and autumn. The 961 meters high Mount St.Ilija is a popular goal and offers a rewarding view over Peljesac Peninsula and surrounding islands.

Among many, we recommend visiting the Art Gallery Drme. The Gallery is run by Jadranka Beca Fradl, well known Croatian artist, and her husband Jasmin. Located just above the famous Dingac vineyards you will find unique handmade pottery and an amusing view of Dingac, Mljet, Korcula, and Lastovo. Please check the Gallery page at

We would gladly provide information/recommendations/reservations for wine tasting at selected wineries.

Do not miss the opportunity to visit some of the 44 well-known wineries of Peljesac Peninsula where you can taste local wine and cuisine, for example at the famous Grgic vinery. The owner, Croatian-origin Mike Grgic is one of the top-ten US winemakers who come back to his roots and started vinery on Peljesac. Here is the link We would also recommend in Potomje.
